So I started in on this new series called the Young Royals. The first book I read was a history of Queen Elizabeth and what it was like for her growing up. The book is an easy read, but definitely not for little little kids. I'd say it's appropriate for teens. The book is called Beware Princess Elizabeth. I like these books because they humanize history while still being relaxing & fun to read.
The next I read is called Duchessina, about Catherine d'Medici. I had no idea her life was so full of trials & this was very fun for me toread since I've been to the palazzo she grew up in. Anyway, if you love history I'd recommend the series.
